About the Workshop

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is the industry standard tool for managing your digital photography workflow. From Import, to managing your library, to non-destructive editing, and finally to exporting, Lightroom is the digital photographer’s swiss army knife.

The goal of the workshop is to become familiar with the Lightroom interface and set up a workflow from Import to Export.

In this one-day workshop, we will cover the following:
- Understanding the Lightroom Interface
- File Management, importing and keywording
- Organizing and culling in the library module
- Editing from A to Z in the develop module
- Exporting, formats and presets

- The difference between JPG, RAW, and DNG
- Using keyboard shortcuts to speed up navigation
- Using presets to automate tasks and adjustments

This workshop is suitable for beginner and intermediate Lightroom users. Though not required, you will get more out of the workshop if you have a laptop with Lightroom 5 installed.
